After doing all my research and finding the relevant information i need to complete the product, i have come up with a range of idea that i could present the research as:
- Publication, stitched.
- Series of posters
- Series of small publications, splitting each generation
- Giant timeline
- Postcard style - key information about each model.
- Publication made up of different signatures, each signature is a different generation. Stitch these all together with mount board for front and back. Cut VW logo through front.
- Top trumps cards
- Manual style publication to explain the VW vans.
- Timeline of the history of VW through using the old ads inspirational - layout, language etc
- Making a model of each different variant, the information on outside becomes the body of the model.
- Interactive timeline/publication application or DVD.
The idea that I am going to take forward is the publication that is split into different signatures. I have chosen this because I feel it fits the best with the research I have, I can separate each generation into a signature and it will take on the manual style that the old vehicles had.
